Snapshots from our Northumberland Tour
It was a memorable Maytime in Northumberland – four performances and two school workshops in three days – plus rehearsals, of course!
Our joyful thanks to our hosts and to our audiences for your support and the warmth of your welcome – with special mentions to composer John Casken and the Wooler Arts Summer Concerts team at St Mary’s Church, to Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum and the Alnwick Garden, and to poet Katrina Porteous for her spirited and inspirational readings at our ‘own promotion’ concert at St Paul’s RC Church in Alnwick – plus the staff and pupils of the Duchess’s Community High School and St Michael’s and Swansfield Park Primary Schools for making music with us and learning together.
May we meet again, joyfully!
